JOIN A SMALL MOVEMENT AND MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE

NUDESTIX uses reusable tins for an important reason! Single-use paper and plastic waste represent the epitome of throw-away culture. We encourage reusable and recyclable materials with environmentally friendly packaging. It’s a small step to do more for our planet. Help us with our Save a Tin program.

STEP 1

Shop NUDESTIX or NUDESKIN and add a free black recycling bag online at checkout with any purchase.

STEP 2

Reuse your travel-friendly tin to organize your products and touch up makeup on the go. Other things to store in your tin: jewelry, headsets, cotton swabs, menstrual products, etc.

STEP 3

Run out of ways to use your tins and mirrors? Finish your NUDESKIN products and clean out the tubes? Have at least 10 tubes? Let’s recycle together! Fill the bag with 10-15 tins and/or tubes and seal well.

STEP 4

Bring your pre-paid bag to your local post office. These will head straight to recycling so please don’t include any returns as we won’t receive them and can’t give you credit for them.

STEP 5

Tin/tubes are sent to the recycling facility. Tinplate is separated into bundle scrap metal and mixed metals are recycled into new industrial products.

ECO-FACT #1

Reports show less than 10% of the world's plastics has been recycled. Most plastic ends up in landfills, our oceans, waterways, and in other parts of the environment. Plastics do not biodegrade. Instead, they break down into microplastics that take thousands of years to decompose and toxic chemicals used to manufacture plastic get transferred to animal tissue, eventually entering the human food chain.

ECO-FACT #2

Most paperboard used in cosmetics is laminated and cannot be recycled.

ECO-FACT #3

Our NUDESKIN plastic packaging that is PET, which stands for Polyethylene Terephthalate, is 100% biodegradable when in landfill. Biodegradable products are not necessarily compostable.

ECO-FACT #4

Mixed metal can be recycled into useful industrial products such as asphalt.
